As we gear up for the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in 2024, where 41 countries (Palestine, Iran, and Egypt are not listed as VNR countries for 2024 anymore) are scheduled to present their Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs), we are reaching out to invite you and all independent stakeholders to actively participate in the stakeholder engagement process to prepare for these presentations and to offer views on questions to be included.
The Major Groups and Other Stakeholders (MGoS) play a crucial role in facilitating the engagement of diverse stakeholders in the SDG monitoring process and aim to ensure that the voices of civil society groups from each country are heard and considered. As part of this effort, we are seeking inputs to the preparation of statements that will be delivered during the VNR presentations in July 2024.
If your work aligns with the countries under review in 2024, we warmly invite you to express your interest in engaging with this process. Your insights and expertise can significantly contribute to a more inclusive and comprehensive discussion. We are looking for inputs on SDG progress specifically in the countries that are undertaking a VNR in 2024, you can see the full list of 2024 VNR countries here.
Important update: Argentina, Guinea-Bissau, State of Palestine, Iran and Egypt are not listed as VNR countries for 2024 anymore
